Avenue Open To Traffic

WESTMINSTER - Residents began traveling Pennsylvania Avenue Friday afternoon after months of reconstruction finally completed the sewer line upgrade, said William S. Mowell, director of public works.

Mowell said the road has been open for traffic while the new pavement on Pennsylvania Avenue is tied into the existing pavement on Union Street.

The project is expected to be complete by the end of the month, he said.
